By downloading or using Hum, you agree to these terms. Hum is provided by Avalan Labs. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.
License
Hum grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with Apple's Standard EULA. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app.
Songs you create
Songs you generate in Hum are for your personal, non-commercial use with your family. You may share them privately. You may not use them in paid content, advertising, or commercial distribution without our written permission. Underlying model rights are governed by our audio provider's terms (ElevenLabs).

Prices are shown in USD and may vary by region. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Subscription terms
- Auto-renewal: Hum Family renews yearly at $49.99 unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.
- Free trial: If you start a 7-day free trial and don't cancel before it ends, the subscription begins and you're charged. Any unused portion of a trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Managing & cancelling: Manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store Terms of Service. Request at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Acceptable use
Don't use Hum to generate content that harasses, defames, or targets anyone; content involving minors in unsafe or sexualized contexts; or anything that violates applicable law. We may disable features for accounts that breach these rules.
Disclaimers
Hum is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee that generated audio will meet any particular standard of quality, accuracy, or musical taste. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avalan Labs disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are noted in the app's release notes; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
